Education

I am a sophomore in the education program at the University of Oregon. I graduated from West Linn High school with over a 4.0 and have maintained an over 4.0 GPA in college as well. I have taken many AP classes in a wide range of subjects including AP biology, AP calculous, AP english and AP political science. In college, I have specialized in education but have taken additional writing classes, science classes, and math classes equipping me with a wide range of experience.

Experience

I currently work in an elementary school aiding in 4th and 5th grade math classes. This has given me real life experience to complement my education in the education field. As an education major, I am focused on elementary school teaching with a focus on special education. This past year, I have thoroughly enjoyed my math classes which are preparing me to teach math at the grade school level. I have a passion for teaching and am excited to continue this passion into summer work.

My name is Mackenzie and I attend the University of Oregon and love sports, Go Ducks! I have grown up playing almost every sport, from volleyball, to basketball to Irish dancing, however, my favorite is softball. Besides sports, I love my family. I have two little sisters as well as two dogs named Prince Murphy and Kobi. I love spending time traveling with them, and a few of my favorite trips have been to Mexico, Haiti and of course Disneyland.
